Lizzy's interests lie in improving satisfaction with life, well-being, and health status in clinical populations (e.g. cancer) across a lifespan through physical activity behavior change, as well as how a social cognitive framework in physical activity interventions may attenuate health declines. Specifically, she is interested in examining the relationship between cognitive functioning and physical activity to improve quality of life in breast cancer survivors.
Lizzy received her B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois. She is currently a Doctoral student in the EPL at the University of Illinois, under the direction of Dr. Edward McAuley.
